The self-developed NY-2 catalyst was used to study the reaction performance of ethylene oxide (EO) aqueous solution and CO2 to prepare ethylene carbonate (EC). Orthogonal experiments were designed to determine the main factors affecting EO conversion and EC selectivity; the influence of the amount of solvent EC, reaction temperature, reaction pressure, catalyst amount and other factors on the synthesis reaction was discussed. 
Experimental results show that n(H2O): n(EO) is the most important factor affecting the conversion rate of EO; temperature and n(H2O): n(EO) are the most important factors affecting EC selectivity; it is determined that NY-2 is used When the catalyst and EC are used as the solvent, the best process conditions for the synthesis reaction: reaction temperature 100～120℃, reaction pressure 3.0～4.0MPa, catalyst mass fraction 2%, n(H2O):n(EO)=1:2, 
n(EC): n(EO)=5. Under these conditions, the conversion rate of EO reached more than 97.62%, and the selectivity of EC reached about 92.55%.
